Transcriptomic Analysis by NGS
Transcriptomic analysis by NGS
The transcriptome represents all the RNA present in a cell at a given time. It includes mRNA, rRNA, tRNA and lncRNA. Its composition differs according to the cell type and the biological and environmental state of the cell at the time of measurement/extraction.
- Analysis of the differential expression of transcripts between themselves or between different biological conditions (eukaryotes or prokaryotes)
- Variant detection (SNP)
- Identification of alternative transcripts (isoforms, fusion genes, etc.)
- The discovery of new transcripts and lncRNAs
